Developments are not solely brought about by answers, but an initial part of any development, whether intellectual or material, is the provision of precise questions. Good questions can take on different forms. For instance, a good question can be one that maintains a balance between the breadth and precision of the enquiry. In fact, the topic of generating questions is, in itself, a topic of philosophical enquiry which deserves to be broad and precise. In this regard, a generous part of Daanadell is dedicated to the practice of creating apt questions and forming dialogue while focusing on how questions can cover themes expansively and accurately.

It is in line with such an objective that Daanadell welcomes the submissions of questions. I am particularly keen to hear from Middle-Eastern academics and students whose interests occur in the furtherance of Middle-Eastern philosophy and art. Specifically, I prioritize questions that are less similar to those asked by thinkers in other parts of the world and, by this, I aim to develop an intellectual heritage when claiming that our questions are of Middle-Eastern origin. Each submission should be accompanied by a brief, scientific introduction of at least 200 words to the question, along with the contact details, qualifications and affiliation of the person authoring the question. Please send your submissions to questions@daanadell.com and write “Submission of Question” in the subject bar of your email correspondence. I aim to respond to submissions within 14 days, and my response will include a custom-built guide to the available literature that is relevant to the question under submission. Each question can be further developed and discussed as I help to explore the available literature of relevance.
