Daanadell English Proficiency (Daanadell) initiated the mission to help Middle Eastern populations disengage sensibly from social idleness, reduce the psychological distress thereof, and open up space for creative writing and academic writing. Through these two in particular, Daanadell encourages individuals and groups in the Middle East to think about the potential diversity of philosophical growth as a facilitator of stability in a range of productive fields, including entrepreneurship and the arts. By taking a brief look at the recent past, it is apparent that the modern history of the Middle East and its people have not contributed substantial publications to the academic literature of philosophy and thought. Accordingly, one may emphasize that a question arises as to why there were very few philosophers of Middle Eastern origin, and of global reputation, in the twentieth century, whereas many modern philosophers rose to fame in Europe at the time. Therefore, a preliminary mission is to promote a culture of aspirations for mental progress and inventiveness that may become of standard importance, and with it may come the primacy of thought as a prelude to different kinds of prosperity.
It is an ambition to encourage a personalized demeanor despite discouraging situations that may often make people disenchanted with the idea of significance. People affected by habituation are more vulnerable to stepping into a dark delusion known as nothingness. It stands at genuine resolve to uplift the boredom of one’s community by thinking searchingly of a real significance, and to distinguish the forms of fake significance that can potentially be fabricated as a creation in one’s mind. Creative writing and academic writing are herein considered as two routes to a greater likelihood of a genuine status of significance. Despite the possibilities of intellectual pretension and ostentation, as they sadly damage the worth of philosophy, the bright side of philosophy may remain in motion and never run out of capable thinkers. In certain circumstances, a new way of thinking may become the starting point for cultural or constructive engagements and, therefore, the promotion of philosophy in the Middle East can be a productive approach. Daanadell seeks to instill a diversified appreciation of philosophy and the worth of thinking, as acts of personal uniqueness, into Middle Eastern minds. Daanadell also seeks to reduce the intellectual dominance of “group” over “individual” in response to the unfortunate notion that the Middle East is often regarded as a place where constitutionalism and sectarianism tend to confine individuals to limited ways of thinking, without appreciating the philosophical uniqueness that each individual deserves to develop. Accordingly, Daanadell aims to encourage Middle Eastern persons to emerge intellectually and individually – with an emphasis on philosophical novelty and merit – after having been educated normally according to the educational system of their country.
This mission may diversify the taxonomy of thought in the Middle East, generate philosophical productivity, and instill literary creation in furtherance of apolitical contexts. Nonetheless, any intellectual community may find it difficult to incline towards absolute detachment from politics. This detachment is indeed one of the toughest that poses intellectual challenges to talented individuals and their wisdom of attentiveness. A realistic mechanism for getting anywhere close to social excellence requires a balanced thought that can categorically manage the bewildering variety of human reason and aesthetics. It is something tinged with adventure within the boundaries of a population’s moral potential. It is a mission to procure such intellectual management for educated people in the region. It may ultimately mean that a quasi-utopian Middle East may someday be positioned at a sensible trade-off between diversity and togetherness. In summary, Daanadell encourages the emergence of new philosophies on civilized ground – the humanities within a tangible approach – with a focus on philosophical intelligence per individual. These objectives are pursued to make provisions for Middle Eastern talents by offering them the prospect of becoming thinkers and concept developers, if not philosophers, in their homelands in the twenty-first century.
